Hi again! Since our last blog update we have travelled to Chennai (formerly Madras) a large city along the eastern coast of India. This city was victim to the 2004 tsunami with waves of over 10m high stretching as far as 3km inland, sweeping away thousands including those children playing cricket on the beach. We moved onwards and upwards to Calcutta and then flew over to Bangkok, THAILAND! We landed at the stunning new airport at Bangkok and thought we had arrived in Disneyland, we just stood in awe. We then travelled from Bangkok to Pattaya to meet our friends, Janet and Ken who kindly offered us respite. We are now traveling around Thailand, aptly named the land of smiles, where the year is currently 2553. We shall update our photos in a few days and relay a little more of this beautiful, sunny country.
